1/2 watt WOW! I will try to hear it! God home brew!!!!
Should say good home brew
thats ACE! im in uk so i dont have a chance to pick it up. all that stuff must have cost a fortune! did you make the morse beacon yourself? what do you use as a transmitter? really cool!!!!!!
thanks, well, it didn’t cost as much as you might think, the transmitter is a Little Joe kit, the code keyer is another kit and the housing was just an empty box I had on had that used to house something else. So I never added the cost up but all together probably less than US 50 dollars or so. I had the power supply to power it already, just a 12 volt. Thanks for the comment!
You do have a very good chance of hearing it over here. Half a watt of CW will make it across the pond quite well given the right conditions. Have a listen around 28.2 +-, you’ll hear plenty of beacons.
‘AKX, I’ll be looking for yours.

Nice video. Any chance you can add yourself to the G3USF beacon list? It looks like a pretty popular list, and it would be great to add you. No one else appears to be transmitting on your chosen frequency.
Thanks for the info, not familiar with that one so I will take a look at that and see if I can add my beacon there!
I checked it out and see that I am listed on there so that is good.
Please your ten meter beacon circuit diagram or kit information and connection info share
i have always wanted a 10 meter beacon, maybe one of our club members can throw one together for me. Having epilepsy can get in the way of soldering sometimes.
Thanks for another fine fine video, keep them coming.
