Radio Amateur Receiver needing a fix job. Watch and see how it was done. It would have cost over £100 and the price of a switch to fix. I used 3 in 1 oil but WD40 works as well as switch cleaner does. Enjoy this video.

I enjoyed it. I ve used WD40 for years on the odd car switch. Love the bit with the dog at the end.

This switch has given me problems, too. I got a Frog 77 that was off of an ocean-going fishing boat. All of the switches needed cleaning, and even the plugs to interconnect the PCBs on the inside needed cleaning. If the plugs are dirty, all kinds of random problems can happen. For me, the timer didn’t work properly and the light behind the analog dial didn’t work.
