Here is another old rig interfaced to Ham Radio Deluxe. It may not get better than this because I have read that this radio from 1976 is the oldest ham rig with a computer interface on the accessory jack.

A quick review of my Yaesu 270 (I have no idea if I am pronouncing it right) ham radio. Its a 2 meter band radio so it has limited capabilities, but I think it’ll suit my purposes.

I converted this old and somewhat damaged 16mm film to video tape many many years ago when the technology to do that was rather archaic. I have now converted those old video reels to digital movies. New Yaesu FTM-350R 2m/440cm amateur radio, stock configuration. Highlighted 0Ω resistor in the lower left (at about 4 O’Clock from the CPU) is just a bridge which needs to be removed to enable extended transmit. It was a snap to do with a good iron, no problems.
