Installing the 100′ Rohn SSV ham radio Tower. There are 5 twenty foot sections. We mounted three in singles, then put the top two in at once, because the boom truck wasn’t tall enough to put the top 20′ on top of an 80′ base. Sorry there’s not more video, but there were only three of use working – N9VW on the ground ropes and video, KC7RAS on the boom truck and tower, and me (K7GLM) bolting tower sections together. Steve could only shoot video during the slow times! The SSV tower is normally a commercial tower, but I’m using it for amateur radio and emergency communications.
