W100AW/7 will be on the air from Sea-Pac, the ARRL Northwestern Division 2014 Convention and an ARRL Regional Centennial Event, in Seaside, Oregon. W100AW/7 will be active from June 6 until June 8. Contacts with W100AW portable operations are worth 5 points in the ARRL Centennial QSO Party. Operation will be on SSB, CW, and possibly on digital modes.

Proceeds from the 2013 ARRL Hudson Division Awards Banquet last fall have been donated to the ARRL Spectrum Defense Fund by banquet sponsor, the Orange County Amateur Radio Club (OCARC) The donation totaled nearly $ 5000, a record for the Division. Nearly 170 attended. Awards for 2012 and 2013 were presented, since the 2012 banquet had to be called off due to Hurricane Sandy.

Ballots were counted today, and challenger Doug Rehman, K4AC, of Mt Dora, Florida, narrowly defeated incumbent Southeastern Division Director Greg Sarratt, W4OZK, of Huntsville, Alabama, 961 to 949 votes. Rehman was among challengers who ran against Sarratt in 2010. Sarratt has served as a Director since 2007.
