How would you compare it to the Sony ICF-SW7600GR? I was looking at this
Tecsun radio and the Sony and was unsure which is the better buy. They are
    both about the same price.

Good stuff Sir! — I’m a newbie wanting to get more up-to-speed and I was
wondering if that chart may be available somewhere. — Thanks!

How do you like that Red Cross radio? I purchased one of non Red Cross
branded versions and it was kind of junky and the knobs didn’t work. Ended
up taking it back, but I liked the features of it.

Man that SSB sounds good on that radio. I have an Kenwood TS-870
transmitter but I have it put away cause we move and I can’t put up my HF
Beam and Vertical antenna. Take care from Ruben KG2NC

To keep the display backlit, here is what the manual says:

    TURN ON/OFF THE BACKLIGHT:
Press the [LIGHT/SNOOZE] button to illuminate the LCD for 3 seconds; press &
hold the [LIGHT/SNOOZE] button for permanently illumination.
Press it again to turn off the backlight.
    Notes:
    1. When the unit is powered by the battery, please try to avoid setting the
    backlight
to permanent illumination so as to reduce power consumption.
    2. When the unit is turned off, the permanent illumination function will be
    turned
    off automatically as well.

Great video. I bought one today because of your informative videos on this
    model.
    Thanks!
