A very quick look at the NW7US amateur radio station where Tomas (NW7US) is using the JT65-HF software to decode the JT65A weak-signal digital shortwave communications mode of stations from around the world. This is a quick view occurring on the evening of 15 August, 2011. The radio is an Icom IC-7000 transceiver, and the antenna is a Hustler vertical with the 20-meter resonator, mounted on the apartment balcony, on the second floor of the building. More videos on this mode of communication will be posted, which will instruct how to set up the software, and how to carry on a two-way communication with another station, using the JT65-HF software. This video is just a quick glimpse.
