This video shows my antenna set up for the 80 and 20 metre bands and the miniVNA (Vector Network Analyzer) antenna analyzer in operation. It’s not a detailed explanation of the miniVNA but hopefully it gives you an insight as to how it functions. My 80metre inverted V comprises of two 59 foot 6 inch lengths of wire fed with a air-cored balun and the 20 Metre inverted V comprises of two lengths of wire each approximately 17 foot long fed by an ugly balun. Hopefully you’ll forgive me for playing about with the Photoshop software. This is part one of two videos here’s the link to part two (youtu.be Kind Regards … Andy gw0jxm

This tutorial illustrates the concept of Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR) through a Microwave Office Simulation. It also shows the relationship between VSWR and reflection coefficient.

Thank you Petunia. I really didn’t expect you to be following this side of my channel, by the way, you take no notice of that wicked Irishman he’s only showing off with those turnips, I know where he lives and I’m sending the rustlers round to his greenhouse.
    Kind Regards … Andy
