I have an Icom R75 receiver and the outer cabinet looks almost identical to the IC-718. There are a few differences in appearance/features but I was wondering which one has the better receiver? Obviously the R75 is only a receiver while the 718 is a transceiver but I always hear so much about the R75 and it’s reception abilities but never really hear anything about the 718’s reception.
Does anybody have both of these radio’s or know of the receive stats that tell the story between the two?
