typical night of ham radio in my ham shack, in lincoln Nebraska. using v2r antenna and hustler 4btv. adi ar-147+ and Icom-735

This evening I paid a visit to NØDSN, Dustin’s ham shack. Dustin is from Glenville, MN USA and he really enjoys the ham radio hobby and public service and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great hobby or to help out with communications in times of a natural disaster.

Great video. good to see Dustin on here too. You have a nice shack Dustin and happy to hear your wife Amy is active too. It’s a family affair, I like that.

I miss a basement! I spent many hours in my basement when I was growing up playing with Dad’s and then my radios. We don’t have basements in CA! But I do have a nice room with windows (real) and I can watch the deer walk by!

My humble opinion, Amateur Radio is the greatest hobby in the world. I have been enjoying this hobby “Playing Radio” for 36 years and look forward to doing it for another 36. If you have a small station or a World Class DX Station the thrill is the same. CQ CQ
