There are two radios in the video Te bigger one i got from a friend, and in
a bad condition with many components missing, rushed to the electronics
repair shop and they made it working!! and the smaller one i purchased from
    local Sony showroom.

Listening to Amateur Radio communication is not illegal per-se. There is a
license scheme for Short Wave Listeners (SWL), which has a nominal fee. But
other wise I don’t feel any one is too bothered on checking if any one is
listening on HAM communication. It would become a problem if you use the
same type of wireless sets etc. used by HAMs.
