I plan to op from my backyard camper. I can run some coax to the Hustler 5BTV that is next to the FAN camper. I have a Ten Tec Triton IV that was collecting lots of dust, needs a good workout to see if it still works.

I like that Gator rack mount case, I have an old BEER Coleman cooler that would do nice like that, and it’s FREE, just sittin in the camper.

WOW! Um hearin folks from all over the place on 20m! The band conditions seem to be very good today. A guy in Mexico is making contacts all over the place! Here it appears the band is not crowded real bad, but there is some nice activity.
I monitored and CQ’d 2m SSB, and dead, dead as a door nail – NADA thus far. I rarely hear radio activity on 2m SSB around here. I have a four element quad and an Icom IC245 rellic into a KLM 160 watt liniker. Perhaps 6m ssb is buzier, but ain’t got it?
