Sunspot numbers seemed to be in a free-fall this week: The average daily sunspot numbers declined more than 29 points to 87, while the average daily solar flux fell 6.2 points to 126.2. Sunspot numbers for June 14-20 were 114, 113, 110, 96, 66, 64 and 46, with a mean of 87. The 10.7 cm flux was 148.6, 144.9, 134.5, 124, 118, 109.9 and 103.7, with a mean of 126.2.
