MØVKG – The setup

A modest setup by most ham shack standards, but currently consists of a Yaesu FT-897D for HF/6m, a converted Ascom SE550 for 4m and an Icom IC-T8E for 6m/2m/70cm. Not pictured are a Yaesu FT-50R and a Yaesu FT-60E, both for use when mobile on 2m and 70cms.

My scanner flipped out when I stuck a negative in it, and spat out this, which is just a screen capture, as it thereupon crashed. I thought it was interesting, as a composition.

From the front of the house. The tree fell away and east, suggesting if there were tornadic activity that the inflow was to our east. We measured a 50mph gust at the house. 1 mile to the east measured over 70mph. And my ham antenna made it!
