Wi-Fi – My Dead Zones Finally Solved With This Netgear N300 EX2700 WiFi Extender
We just got one of these $35 Netgear N300 EX2700 WiFi Extender yesterday for a lot of dead spots trying to connect to our wireless router with multiple iPhones and iPads.
I am blown away by how well this Netgear N300 EX2700 WiFi Extender works and completely solves our problem in our 4,500 plus sq ft, three story home. I rarely give a complete raving recommendation but this gizmo deserves it.
We got just one of these even with our FIOS router in the far corner of our basement. This Netgear N300 EX2700 WiFi Extender is plugged into an outlet on the top floor in my office.
I am amazed at the range and the connection speed of this wifi extender.
I’ve used Wi-Fi extenders before and returned them all since I found all of them a hassle to use or they just didn’t work well. This Netgear N300 EX2700 WiFi Extender had a 5 minute setup and now we have no ZERO dead spots anywhere in the house AND our entire backyard and front yard – even for no buffering video streaming.
This shouldn’t work this well – but, for us, it does – and I highly recommend this to anyone who has wi-fi dead zones for smart phones, tablets and notebook computers.
I got this from Amazon so I could return it if it didn’t work. You might try the same thing to see if it can help solve your own problem. It’s easy to return if it doesn’t work.
Let me know if you try the Netgear N300 EX2700 WiFi Extender and your results.

Robert
PS: Even though this defaults to inheriting the password from the main router for the extender itself – be sure that you go in and change the admin login for the extender from the default password!
