ARRL member Jim Abercrombie, N4JA (ex-K4BMS), of Enoree, South Carolina, died May 14. He was 76. According to Charles Pennington, K4GK, Abercrombie was fatally injured as the result of a fall from his Amateur Radio tower.

DXer and ARRL Life Member James D. Kulp, K3SW (ex-K3AWZ, V26SW), of Middletown, Virginia, died August 5. He was 70. Kulp was licensed in 1957 and became K3SW 20 years later. He was a life member of AMSAT and also belonged to the Frankford Radio Club, Potomac Valley Radio Club, the National Capitol DX Association and other organizations.
