have you tried shortning up the longer rods? with them at long and 27mhz
try shorten them a tad to reach 28mhz. you had the hats all the way down
and hit 33mhz. you moved them up to far got 27 try move them back down a
little bit
you mite be able to reach 28mhz that way as-well
just an idea to throw out there…

think about what you’re doing adding to the cap hat only adds to resonance,
it doesnt a another band you need to change the coil winding in order to do
that, experiment with coil windings, thats where you’ll get your answers

I’m thinking that it wouldn’t work if you changed capictance hat’s lengths.
My computer keeps buffering on this video. One half of this antenna might
make a mobile HF antenna. Have you ever thought of making a mobile antenna?
