awsome love it very relaxing and educational A+ FIVE STARS KEEP THEM COMING
Thanks very much for the feedback and post.
My pleasure, thanks for watching.
I originally received it when I was about 12 or 13 years old back in the
early 1980’s. It was bought from a HAM radio shop (Hamrad) in Cape Town
South Africa and was used at the time but in perfect condition. No
restoration has been done beside replace the odd “pea light bulb”
inside…in fact one of them is not working at the moment….but besides
that it’s still in very good condition.
Very interesting – thank you for uploading this.
Hi Bill, thanks very much for the feedback and information. Cheers, Martin.
Thumbsup! for a nice well-done informative video:) one slight thing though,
is that those transmitter power listings in the Shortwave Info site are
actually in kilowatts. So when you see “250” or “100” that is 250,000 or
100,000 watts. Obviously a “1” or a “5” are 1000 and 5000 watts. 73, very
very nice video you did.
My pleasure, thanks for the feedback.
My pleasure…thanks for the feedback.
That FRG-7000 is in great shape. Did you or a previous owner restore it?
My pleasure, thanks for the feedback.

Very nice video! w0xs
Thanks Martin. I`v been into SW listening about 30 years. I have a number
of radios. My best one is a Sangean ATS 803. It`s a kind of minimalist rig,
but I`m very attached to it.
I can also get good reception on the Kenwood TS 140S HF set. Thanks again,
Joe
