This is the most strange example of RF induction as Ive ever seen. I knew
it can come across a sensitive amplifier, but not a ground.:O I wonder what
the wattage on the station was. To arc like that I can imagine the voltage
must have been a few thousand with microamps. Still enough to wake you up
    LOL.

I wonder if you can hear that radio station on a cheap generic made in
china switchmode wall-wart supply when it’s plugged into that
    electricity….

it’s comming through the grounds because it’s trying to get to ground. Keep
in mind, under any broadcast AM tower few inches under the earth, laid out
radially from the tower, is copper pipe to couple the tower to the earth as
    counterpoise.
