That’s really cool.
I have worked Europe on 10 watts, an Icom 746, into a Mosley TA 33. Fun stuff!!!
Very informative! I’d like to take a peek inside that interface box you made and how you fix it up. Thanks for showing your PSK setup – helps motivate me to try it.
Usefull video, and I’m glad you mentioned that you don’t need a transmitter to get involved with this. I also seen a video about that you don’t even need a radio receiver – well as long as the internet is up and running for now during good times. There is some website that you can hear shortwave broadcasts on, here is a YouTube video about it, for those who don’t know yet: watch?v=GB9Ed02Vhr8
I got sort of interested in this stuff looking up the KCS – Kansas City Standard for computer data
@field16 a peek inside, no problem, but i am going to strip it out over the weekend and rebuild it! your going to see alot of that interface box! hope you well enjoy this little series! :-0
@TheZeke1974 hes worked europe on 10 watts thru a cell phone cause thats the only way a hame can talk to yurope. cbers can talk all over the mother fuckin world any time of day or night and stomp the fuck out of those hams. CHANNEL 6 SUPERBOWL, BIYACH!
Thank you very much sir for this. Great work.
great video. I’ve had digipan installed on my computer for a little while now. It really is interesting to see how far my ears can reach on my setup. I have a kenwood R2000 receiver and a desk mic sitting in front of the speaker. Not a ham, I can only listen. But, it’s still interesting.
