Cool, Im new at this. How many watts does that rig run?? 100? it may sound
like a stupid question, but im under the impression that the more watts the
better.
Hey there Scott. Yeah it goes up to 100 watts. Goes down as low as 5 watts
too. No worries about the questions. Well more watts is a good thing for
sure, but that’s not really where “the money” is at. You’re much better off
having a solid antenna system. Yes it’s a system and there is much more to
it than the antenna itself. But that is really the key. People make
contacts all around the world using 5 watts or less. Some even use less
than 1 watt. But they’re using a really good antenna system and that’s how
they’re able to do that.
