@VK4KDD Thanks Ron, it was sure a wild weekend no doubt. 73 JD
too bad we did not here you on but maybe next time 73’s kc9kuh
@r0adk1ng Lot’s of surprises Dave no doubt. Worked a little 6m but maily
stayed pinned to 2m and above.
An awesome video showing Sporadic E skip in North America. JD has a stable
of videos for two meter weak signal operators. All excellent. Enjoyed this
as always – thanks for posting. 72.
JD, Nice video…I missed all the 2 meter action. our multi-multi effort
fell apart. Tim had to work. We did get the 2 meter and 432 antennas
together, but ran out of daylight to get the tower up. thats about how my
weekend went. i had only 6 meter. no help to stand the vhf/uhf tower up
Saturday before everything started.. 73, KD8GKR
@markg0nmy That’s correct 144.200 is correct on the Calling Frequency. It’s
a blast when the band is open and we have some long distance stuff.
@KD8GKR Oh no… that’s no fun. Hope you did something on 6m to make up for
it. 73 JD/N0IRS
@jdizzy47 Yeah i had a blast on 6. got several compliments on big signal
and great audio. i was the pile up for a few hours. i figured you went to
Mena. i worked all the grids around EM24, up to EM28. never made a contact
in EM29. i worked the bunk house. i made a quick video of the band opening
and my contact with fellow grid bandit member K5KDX. 6 was packed from
50.100 to 50.300. keep posting the great videos….73 Brent KD8GKR
Great video JD Congrats on the contract with KH6TY well done. I need him
also 🙂 73 Ron VK4DD
Another great video, JD! Your 2m activity sounded like our 6m activity!
Very little activity here on 144/222/432. Most guys, locally did not get on
the higher bands until 6m fizzled and when I did go there I only heard the
same stations calling CQ (the ones I already worked!). Dave-NT9E
@radiobigman47 Let’s hope we finally get some good Tropo soon. These
weather patterns and all the rain do not help. 73 JD
Is 144.200 your calling freq? As it seems you have many stations working on
the one freq! Nice to see lots of stations active though!
