Tom, check out my description, I added a youtube link
Great video David. So fun to watch a guy get that excitement on a long
distance mobile QSO with nice gear that he purchased with his hard earned
money! I really enjoyed this. Great job buddy! I have the FT-857d and need
to get motivated to spend the money on the ATAS-120. Your video gives
another push. 73
Great video, thank you for sharing.73 (kg4uhv)
You can use an old steel circular saw blade on the inside of the roof to
reinforce the mount.
I disagree with you I went back east to Dayton and worked all over the
place. My ATAS 120 is on my trunk lid and it worked just fine KA7RRA
Very nice Ng9p
I gotta have you make a video for me when i install my Little Tarheel
HP…when i get it! lol Great video…talk to you soon. K4EQE 73
Very nice. Thanks for sharing… 73
these aerialswork very poorly on a bracket like this, no substitue for
drilling a hole in the roof
Thank you everyone so much for watching! Blackgoldestates, I’m sure roof
mounting would make this screw driver work amazing, but I’m not sure how
well the roof would hold up that weight. Actually I just can’t bring my
self to drill on such a new truck… ; )
Great job David hope to hear you on the air, 73’s de KK4NEF
