www.cbradiomagazine.com – This is a short video describing the Icom IC-718 Ham radio and how it can be modded for transmit on 11 meters (CB). Please be aware that although it is possible to modify this radio it is illegal to use this radio on 11 meters.

This is a morning test of the Icom 735 I just got . It’s alignment is not correct and that’s why you see the .2. It’ll shift from about .1 to .3 when heated up. Radio is fine business regardless. Much better than my 718.

Great video
Next on my list, thanks for the video.
hell yeah. the icom works great on ham and c.b… i love mine… i highly reccomend it … i hope that they keep selling them for many years to come…
on the diodes i break off all 3 and it gives you from 1 to 33 mhz… it rocks…
So how many cbers will transmit on ham bands with this modification? A cber has reason to buy this radio. Stick to your cb gear and stay away from amateur radio equipment.
@YAESU897D Dumb-ass….this mod gives you the cb band, not the HAM bands you DOUCHE BAG!! Go slither back under your mushroom!
@YAESU897D Regardless of what you think, Cb’er’s have used ham equipment on the Cb band for years and will continue to do so. These radios are a lot more durable for 27mhz than standard CB gear. I would urge all 27mhz operators to buy ham equipment. It is much better.
