Hi Trish – I’m a big 8-track kinda guy and I think this Quad system will
look good in my game room. I got two other Quad 8-track system, but the
size of this one and also the matched speakers should work well for me.

Hi Stereo – Vinyl is in right now, and for good reasons… great music!
But, most music can be found on cassette too, and you can still get some
real hi-end equipment cheap. Is there good music today? Yeah, but in my
view not enough variety. The creativeness of the late 60s – 90 has kinda
been lost. That’s why so many younger collectors are grabbing the older
music. But finding good vinyl equipment is getting tough. I think cassettes
will get more popular each year. See ya — Atco
Hi Atco. You got some real bargains on those 8 track players. Jose
Feliciano sounds great on them. I always pick up blank cassette tapes
whenever I come across them. The reel to reel tapes were a nice find too.

Hi Colin – I tell my younger subscribers to go into cassette players and
tapes if they don’t have the vinyl equipment. Everything cassette is still
cheap, but before too long that will change. What has started to slow down
is finding blank cassette tapes. So, you’re right to grab them when you see
them. Prices are going to start going up soon for the collectors. Ginny
Bash? I saw the t-shirt in the summer and had to grab it to have it for

Some pretty nice catches Atco. Chris & I weren’t as lucky last
weekend….kinda slim pickins’! However, the Mansfield Outdoor Flea Market
will run right up until Thanksgiving. Still a few more chances for some
good stuff!

Yeah, I always try to make it to the last hamfest of the year. So many
people don’t want to keep their stuff for another year, so you get the best

Hi Henry – Yeah, you get used to seeing people in one style. Most of my
adult life I had a mustache. When I shaved it off around 2005, people
didn’t know who I was at first glance. Now the mustache might hang around
