    I am a ham myself, I wonder why do you have some many radios? Is it a way to show-off and be cool? I think if you have a radio that covers every band why have 6 or seven radios? I bet you haven’t used some of them in years. The line of these are an investment is a crock so please don’t think we’re stupid.

    @langhilau You seem to have many mean things to say about other peoples videos to on ham radio. Also, no one thinks we are stupid. If people want to spend money on radios let them do that. People do that for every other hobby. My mother always told me, “If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all.”

    I miss my boat-anchors; it’s a bitch to be a poor ham. I owned many really cool rigs, but give them up to get more modern rigs. I thought I was trading up, but I’d love to have those desk crushers back.
    Come to think of it, I wouldn’t mind getting my first car and girlfriend back either. The car was a ’64, the girl was a ’51. Oh my misspent youth.

    @langhilau im a cber and why get ham radios? they aint worth shit an cbers can stomp the fuck out of those weak little yazoos an icoms with a cobra 2000 an a set of beams. this ham got on the other day an someone runnin barefoot stomped his ass, it was hilarious. plus women chase cbers but run from hams. i have a hole videyo series on it.

    1 cb channel 19 has saved more lifes then ham
    2 cbers have higher quality radios
    3 we got echo mikes, hams are jealous cause they cant use that kind of stuff
    4 cbers use real big linyears unlike 1500 watts by hams
    5 cbs are more durable an dont have gay buttons and knobs u dont need
    6 cbs have louder audio than hams on am
    7 it takes a pro to do cb, anybody can do ham
    8 cbers talk to women and get laid on the cb

    @Thercflyer96 I’m assuming you don’t have you license yet. If you did, you’d probably know this. Anyway, if you want to enter a conversation, you find an unoccupied frequency (tune into a frequency where you can’t hear anything and ask if it’s occupied, if nothing happens, it’s not) and call CQ (“This is Kilo Juliett 6 Oscar Kilo Lima KJ6OKL calling CQ on [wavelength]” repeated in whatever order for about 20 seconds) and wait for a response.
