It’s the Comet SMA24 HT Antenna but I’ve now read that the Diamond SRH77CA
are supposedly better and may pick one to see if I can tell any difference?

Love your videos, Goathiker. We got some Kahtoola Microspikes for our
winter hikes here in SLC, and they give me great traction. You should check
them out. They just slip on over your shoes.
Hello Steve. I should do as you. Camera on head. 73 QRO Roger
Steve, another great video. What is your new head cam? Randy
Another enjoyable video!
This video could have been so much better if there was more explanation.
Clearly a lot of work went into it but the pace was too fast. Viewer needs
time to absorb, explain the moon, Explain what SOTA is (summits on the
air). This has so much potential

Always great vids. I love the expression on the sky warn dudes faces. LOL!
Burt is such a grouch! Always dumping on the good mood.
Did I see a new toy, HatCam? What kind is it? 73 N3LJS
Fine business! Happy holidays and 73, WA5MUF
Steve, What antenna is that on your VX8R?
POV.1.5 video system it’s waterproof, dustproof, and shock-resistant. The
system includes a mountable camera head, built-in video recorder, wireless
remote and software.
This looks like a lot of fun. Will have to get my kit together for SOTA
this year (what date is it?)
I’d like to know what program that is as well.
That is the Comet I planned on picking up for my VX8R. Let me know how you
like the Diamond. It has received good reviews also. 73!
With SOTA you don’t have to wait for a contest to roll around. You can have
fun doing SOTA any time you please! It’s dependent only on the weather,
propagation and your ‘free’ time to get out and hike a SOTA peak/hill.

Steve, your videos are always a hoot! I love them – makes me want to go
hike a mountain here in GA. You’re an inspiration to us all. Tell Peanut
and Rooster Merry Christmas! -Chris
Thanks Steve, another great video.
This was a awsome video …and what a theme it has your a genious
Very nice quality on that video. I hadn’t actually heard the “The Voice” in
years. Must find the program that generated it. -N0PWZ
What you opinion on the FT-817 vs IC-703+ Pro
s and Cons
I think I need to trade my very lazy greyhound for a couple of goats. – Al
