Here is what used to be my garage. About 2/3 of it is related to my pipe organ project and the remaining space will be dedicated to doing antique electronic restoration and my ham radio desk will be there as well.

look very nice!
That’s amazing! To have a pipe organ at home is pretty incredible! And my wife complains about my having too many records (:->
I don’t think you have any spare time! Randy
Randy you are correct! I have more irons in my fire than most have. I am actually getting things ready for my retirement years and most of these things will pull together eventually. I guess I’ll never run out of things to do. A couple of years back I met a man who just retired from teaching school. He was around 58 then. He told me he was absolutely bored with being retired. He had no interests. Can you imagine that? Someone who has no interests and retires? He should have never retired. Gary
I live alone with my dog. I may never get anything completely finished and perfected but all these things in my life make life interesting. At one time or another we all come to realize just how short life is and so strive to make the most out of it.
Great philosophy Gary! I’m also prepping for retirement in a few years and part of that is to set my priorities. There is so much that I want to do and look forward to doing! – Craig
HI Gary What a fun project you have going, and now time to enjoy it. That will be great when you get that finished. I did the same thing many years ago. I have a 16 x 25 ft building in back that use to be a garage. It is heated and air conditioned, and that is where my workshop is and all the jukeboxes, etc.are. It is also somewhat overloaded now. Where are you going to set up the pipe organ. Don’t those require a very tall ceiling, and they are very complicated to set up.
Oh Maynard the pipe organ is setup and is playing. I have three videos of it. The organ is down for the winter because the machine room where the blower and regulators are was still the remainder of the garage with no heat. That is a nice building you have. I had thought of putting up a small ham shack behind my garage but I prefered to put the station in the corner of the electronics area. I basically have to juggle projects because it is obvious I have more than I can handle. Gary
HI Gary I haven’t explored your videos enough. They are all very interesting, How impressive that Wurlitzer pipe organ is, and you are a really talented guy, not only at playing but knowledge of installing somehting that complex. I have always like Wurlitzer pipe organs. I have albums of the colossus in Salt Lake City. I really enjoyed the video about your horse, and I will look forward to more videos on the shop project. . Do you live on a farm?
I only have one acre so I board Lee three miles from where I live.
