Hi Ricardo… very good video.. just one thing… I have had both radio in
my shack.. but I saw the FT857ND has the DSP and IPO on… so signals on
S-meters scale should be lower when you have those functions on. Also on
PRO3 the Pre-amp is on it means the signals on Icom are of course higher

Good video. The Pro 3 on paper is far superior, but the 857 is really an
incredible radio in such a small package. I have an FT-857D and an FT-9000D
and have equal fun on both. 73 Mike M0SAZ.
You had the Pre amp on and the attenuator on at the same time. Any reason?

The Pro3 sounds veiled on CW, with clearly heard DSP artifacts. So
fatiguing on CW, but incredible on SSB.
