I don’t understand your question. I use copyrighted music all the time in
my videos, from all different sources.
I think these were in Ford Windstar’s
Try WLS 890 AM.
It has nothing to do with copyright. He’s not demonstrating music, just the
radio. It happens to be that to properly demonstrate the radio AM Stereo
capabilities, you need music. 🙂
This video was recorded a few months ago, but I just heard them play “Brown
Eyed Girl” again today. Compared to when the Breeze first “tweaked” their
format a year ago, they have added a lot of older music back to the
playlist. Magic and Lite have also started playing ’70s music again. I
guess they all realized that they were losing listeners to CBS-FM, so maybe
it wasn’t such a good idea for them to suddenly stop playing anything
pre-’80s.
i have been looking and looking on google, and bing could you help me out ?
the reverb is ridiculous.
I’ve not listened to them since the format tweak. I would imagine they
aren’t going back to playing more obscure gold AC like they did before the
change and stick with old favorites that people will listen to over and
over again. I suppose the former classic hits slanted AC isn’t coming back
either. 🙁
I don’t have the pinouts on hand, but I’m sure a quick Google search will
turn them up.
With a dash kit, I could put it in my Mazda.
Yes, I used a 12-volt sealed lead acid battery. Car radios always seem to
pick up some RF noise on AM from power supplies, no matter how
well-filtered and shielded the supply is, so a battery is the only way to
get totally clean reception. Just be sure to add a fuse if the radio
doesn’t have one — these gel-cell batteries can deliver enough current to
quickly melt solder and burn wires if they get short-circuited!
I’ve found most EQ settings that offer a Jazz setting sound the best.
Baseball is over in New York.
Why do they use IBOC in the first place? It sounds like complete sh*t and
violates FCC regulations.
It sounding like sandpaper, I’ll agree, but it was the FCC that allowed
IBOC.
could you give me the pin outs for tue speakers? it would help me out a
bunch. I simply do not have money for a reverse harness like yours, so I
just want to solder, or “hard wire” my unit, which is very similar, with
the same connector as yours, and it too has RDS.
I swear your camera microphone always sounds great! Cool vid!
could you give me the pin outs for tue speakers? really need it .
Nearly all of WCTC’s IDs, station promos, and commercials are in stereo,
although in this case you really can’t hear the separation from the
camera’s microphone.
That is truly the most interesting representation of an ampersand I have
ever seen from a fourteen/sixteen segment display! I’ll give the
programmers credit for trying. It’s a pity that the dirt-common and
oh-so-basic CD/AM/FM radio doesn’t do any of this neat stuff despite using
a nearly identical display. (The tape deck or tape/CD model also supports
RDS and DSP effects so far as I know, which makes me wonder if it also
supports C-QuAM as the CD6 does.)
Are you still planning on installing it in your Mazda? That reverb thing is
pretty cool. I’ve seen this on a lot of newer stereo equipment. Sometimes
it’s not clear what setting is normal though!
I love the PTY feature on RDS> I wish my Pioneer DEH4400HD offered full
RDS. It does have standard PS but not RT. It also has HD Radio. Am isn’t in
Stereo however unless it’s an iBiquity HD Station.
I heard these sound crappy ,am i wrong
Nice to see this one going! I’m fairly certain Ford radios from 1988 onward
use LEDs for the illumination.
I would think AM only to show off the capabilities since this radio does
have AM stereo which is unique for just about any radio.
