It turns out that CH 11 has a history channel and a 24 hour news channel on
its sub channels. CH 11 still doesn’t come in perfect yet, and I’m going
to upgrade the amplifier cables to make CH 11 perfect for watching that
history channel.
To upgrade the amplifier cables, instead of using 6 foot long
cables between the amplifiers and the splitter, I’m going to buy 6 inch
cables so there is less signal loss at the top of the 600 MHZ band.
CH 38 is perfect and indestinguishable from Law & Order on cable
however, because CH 11 (RF 47) is lower powered at only 200 kw compared to
CH 38 (RF 43) at 200 kw and CH 7 (RF 44) at 1 mega watt and 200 kw travels
farther at RF 43 than at RF 47.
It worked! Now we can enjoy TV, Thank you :)
