The cut-and-folded portion of the headliner becomes the primary mounting surface, which secures the radio surprisingly well under the compression of the supplied mounting bolts. The supplied double-sided foam tape comes in handy for test-fitting and holding the face steady while you bolt it in. A small nail comes in handy for making pilot holes for the bolts.
An ample amount of hot-glue supports the front end of the face/mount and keeps the assemly at the correct angle. Placing the headliner at an angle at the corner of a table, then resting the front on the radio’s face itself provides enough weight to hold everything in place while the glue hardens. Care should be taken not to drip hot glue down through so it is visible from the other side, though it does clean up easy if you do.

This was recently the site of an experiment in power conservation. A pad at the turnstiles generated electricity as commuters stepped on it, powering the turnstile itself.
