Here is a short video showing RTTY being decoded online roulette on my Icom IC-756 Pro, the video shows OE9GHV in Austria contacting JA1UTZ in Japan.
Using software MultiPSK (from FR), a Samsung Netbook (KR), and Target/NASAmarine HF3 receiver (UK), i decode the navigation warnings from Hamburg Coastguard (DE). Can’t really get more multicultural/international than that 😉

This sounds like a rtty signal to me. Heard on random piece of wire hung in a tree connected to soundard, using spectrum lab software.
2011 January RTTY Roundup Contesting on 01-09-2011. I was just casually hunting and pouncing on RTTY signals on 40 meters and a little on 20 meters. These bands were very much alive with many RTTY signals. It was a good way to get a bunch of contacts for Worked All States and such awards. And also a good way to get your feet wet in Radio Teletype with fast contacts of the wham-bam-thank-you type.

Hello this is my IPHONE 4 decoding RTTY and to keep it small / portable im using the kenwood THF7 on USB 20m the program is Multimode, the antenna is a one of the Wonder Wand types the next experiment i will be using it hopefully on an MIZUHO mx3.5s when i build a interface then follow up with a little VOX unit. sorry about the quality of the test.

As a Short Wave Listener, I enjoy decoding signals in various modes. RadioTeletype is by no means a new mode, its been with us for ages – some might even say they are surprised its still in commercial use. This video shows the reception and decoding of RTTY (pronounced Ritty) from DDH7, part of the German Weather Service, Deutscher Wetterdienst, in Hamburg. This is the Drake Tono Theta 7000e communications computer. It was polular in the 80’s and still is hard to beat if RTTY is your pleasure. Tono was a Japanese quality manufacurer of digital communication equipment and was way ahead of its time. They made many products but this one was by far the most polular model with hams. The unit is built very well.
