woot woot! hope to get a spare rig that i can pop into a case
you could make some money out of that CHEERS ZL1DEF
good job ki4nnk
Im thinking more and more on making a generic production model for Hams and
First Responders where you already have a mobile radio and just buy the Kit
less the radio.
@dogandcattle
I have seen many deals like this. I have been a ham for 14 years and own
repeaters and portiable repeaters… you did a great job of putting it
together..73’s – KG4ECU
wow thats really impressive! I like the idea completely! I am going to look
into coverting my spare radio into something like this. If I run into any
problems I will let you know.
Nice neat setup! 73
impressive, well done. you could sell them
what sort of emergency would u use this for??
great job man looks awesome
Thanks for the demo. I’m building my first jump kit, and this gives great
ideas.
WELL DONE! Aloha. ~Wolf
Great job. Awesome work. I think I’ll try the same except go with an AC to
12-15DC battery charger and a 12V drycell battery.
good job keep the thinking cap on lookn forward to see ur next.
Really nice build. How long did it take to build? Any sites where I could
find ideas for a backpack build? Also, we’re holding a special tribute for
the HAM radio operators of the Titanic at our museums on April 9 & 10.
Check out our website for more information and operating frequencies if
you’d like to join in. Thanks!
this is cool but internal batterys might be better in a pinch
Awesome idea! I’m jealous I do not already have one of these. I have a
newer model Tundra and I HATE the idea of mounting things permanently into
new paneling. I hope to be able to assemble something like this. Thanks! 73

great kit!
Pelican 1450 case, with the pelican 1450PF panel frame. Aloha
That is tighter than frog twat!
nice job on that. I’d love to build something similar but on HF. I have an
IC-703+ that I was thinking of doing this to. All you need to do is get
yourself a couple of 20 watt solar panels that would fit in the box and
then you’d really be portable.
very cool in deed..
wow…very impressive!
This is also a very nice Go Kit.
Thanks David, another great job of explaining the inside and outside of a
radio for us.
