Nice video editing 😀
Hi thanks for the input, can you send me some more hours in the day as
well? My mind is buzzing with ideas but I only have a limited number of
hours to do everything I want to do. Thanks for the feedback, I’m sure
it’ll feed the imagination of others looking in. Kind Regards … Andy

Hey, well spotted, I flogged it through one full revolution of the rotor
and then copied and pasted it to give me five full revolutions for that
sequence. That sequence with the yellow bar runs for one minute, (5 RPM.)
The frame rate is 29.9 fps. I’ve spent about 9 hours editing this video
today so thanks for the feedback. I need all the encouragement I can get,
hi hi. All the best… Andy
Hello Andy, I posted some additional ideas on your video #61. I realized
that you could also use the typical wrapped string drive instead of the
timing belt with all the rest being the same. you can fine tune the degrees
by adjusting the crank arm length. You probably have a bunch of those
string drive pulleys in your parts bins.
Hi Andy another great video. Thanks for all your hard work and time
explaining how its made.I see AllAmericanFiveRadio follows you as well he
helped me with a QRP transmitter problem last year. You both make Ham radio

This entire series is great! Impressive project, and impressive editing.
Elegant design, and thought provoking. Inspiring new ideas for not just my
own antenna projects, but other things too! Well done Andy, much
appreciated.
Fantastic job with the mechanicals and with the video editing. I await your
videos with eager anticipation!
Hey, with comments like that I’ll be having to widen the door frames to get
my head through, but keep them coming. Seriously thanks for the feedback, I
love to see it when someone actually picks up on one of my ideas and builds
it, and I love to think that hopefully this information will be in the
public domain for years to come. I’d like to see how other people can take
this and make their own improvements to it. All the best… Andy GWØJXM
Hey, eager anticipation … I sense a marketing opportunity here. But
seriously I hope you don’t get bombarded with adverts with my videos. When
I signed up for YouTube a chose the no averts option as it really annoys me
when the video starts with an advert, I usually immediately go back a step
in the hope that someone gets the message. Anyway, hopefully not to long
till the next video from me. All the best… Andy GWØJXM
I thought that was a carriage bolt!
Hey Andy, Very nice motors. They should spawn many useful projects. Your
Antenna tuning mechanical drive, I guess you will house it a weather proof
box. I would thing it would not produce much heat at all, which should mean
a very long life, and very little electrical noise also. Really nice
project. Regards, Rick
I’ll use one of those reasonably heavy duty moulded boxes with the ‘O’ ring
seals in the lid, I’ll have to get some silica gel descant to go in as
well. I was over the moon with the little motors; I plan to make a
capacitor drive for my magnetic loop antenna today, that’ll require an
insulated mechanism because of those pesky high volts that want to jump
about a bit in series resonant circuits. Man, I tell you, since retiring
there just aren’t enough hours in the day. All the very best …Andy
Hey I don’t care what I use so long as I can make it ‘fit-for-purpose,’ but
it was a bit annoying to find I hadn’t got what I wanted to hand. All the
best … Andy GWØJXM
Hi Colin, yep I think that Ricks channel ‘AllAmericanFiveRadio’ was the
first channel that I subscribed to, full of good radio stuff. Ham radio is
a great hobby as there are so many facets to it and I’ve made contact with
a lot of nice people over the years. All the best… Andy GWØJXM
