   I own an old IC-2350H and was aware you can do this with that radio but have no idea how to activate this mode.

   Could you please explain what you needed to do and press on the front panel to activate the crossband repeat function on your IC-2350H radio?

   o Press [VHF Main] [UHF Main] and [SET] Simultaneously
   o To deactivate, press [SET] and hold for 2 secs

    That is well cool. When I heard about this I thought it was for repeaters on a different band for TX to RX (such as the ISS repeater), but this remote control of the radio is WELL COOL! Good video!

    Hi I asked a friend modify the FT-8900 with their video problems but now I get the radio, you could tell me the initial values of UHF REFxxH – TUNxxH and the PWRxxH, Squelch off the right side rises the bar the maximum due HELP ME TKS

    a handy function to have,but ofcom should state waht channels can be used for this,you dont have to use 500mw on your handset,just on the tx output of your x band repeater,by runnig higher power on your handset dont think you would be breaking any rules,where can i get more info regarding this type of operation,ofcom stuff is black and white but to much grey and not to the point.

    Wow yall have some strict rules over there regarding repeaters. Here in the States all you need is a repeater and a place to put it and you can crossband whatever you want (as long as you are legal to TX on the input freq basically 220 and 1.2 GHz for Novice and all but 10M for Tech).     God almighty I’m glad we don’t have to do all that shit here in the USA 🙂
    I used to have an 8900 and I loved it. I sure like the blue display though. Good info for those in your country though.
