It confirms my findings. I never liked the Harsh Audio from the Pro 3 and that has been fixed on the 7410

1) Hi, my name is Doug. I am living in West Linton. I was thinking on going for my first licence in Amateur Radio. I have been surfing the ‘net to see what my options are. The Yaesu FTM-350R was my first choice due to the nice blue display and the large numbers. I had read (maybe I am mistaken) that the radio does not automatically transmit the radio and operator call sign every 10 minutes. So I started looking at the KENWOOD TM-D710E
Here I saw 2 rigs side by side and what a difference.

Sounds like the DSP is off on the 756. I haven`t got one but thats how my 775 sounds when the DSP is off.

Can you turn off the DSP on CW on the 756 Pro3? I love the rig (with SP-21 external speaker) on SSB, but there are strange artifacts on CW, which make the rig sound fatiguing to me.
If both radios were reset to their default values, i.e., DSP, NR, NB off then the 7410 is a winner!!!!
I am getting mine delivered next 2/7/12!!! I used to own 756ProII & III….currently selling FT-950 to accomodate 7410.

Both have first class receivers, should test them in a contest CW pileup!

7410 presentes less noise than Pro3
la bf semble un peut plus grave sur l’ ic 7410 , j’aime mieux .The bf seems one can graver on the ic 7410, I prefer

How is the Pro3 as an SWL receiver? Is it good on AM? I have a GAP Titan vertical.
