   Will the MFJ 998 in auto mode tune to a SSB voice signal without having to push the transceiver tune button ?

   Thanks for uploading this. I ordered the 929 or the smaller version of your tuner. My rig is a Yaesu ft-101b. I will probably have to bypass tuner to tune radio first, then drop power, then engage auto tuner. I bought the 929 mainly because of auto tune and Freq. Counter. Should I expect to tune AM? What should I do with LSB/USB? I read that these tuners do not display SSB. Your thoughts please. Thank you. 73
