A video about the 2ft Thundepole Super-Flexi – a compact wound antenna that seems to work well for the size. Took some finite tuning to get the SWR down, but got there eventually. Being a short antenna, it’ll only cover about 40ch and the video shows the importance of checking the SWR even if the antenna is claimed to be pre-tuned. £10 plus delivery from Thunderpole and Thunderpole stockists – 3ft and 4ft versions also available.

good info, never take it for its word
Have you ever used a predator 10k antenna??? They work well i think they would even work on the UK band….Nice Vid my man
Good info Gary, but would have liked to have seen how ‘flexible’ this twig really is, ’cause it looks pretty rigid, like a mini firestik!
– it’s certainly a lot more flexible that a Firestik, but “Super-Flexi” it’s not. If I remember, I’ll do an update to illustrate how flexible it is – I’m out of the country for a few weeks, so it may be a while. Cheers.
