What a great video! I wonder if those fellows had any clue as to what
communications would be like in the 21st century? Thanks for sharing this
wonderful piece of Ham Radio history! 73 — de Mick, WB4LSS
It was great to hear Sam Moore’s voice on this. I worked at Moore’s back
in the 1970s, and Sam inspired me to get my ham license. I was WB8ZLY then,
now N4BGG.
Awesome video from my local Amateur Radio club way back in 1937, Several
of these young men in this film, later in their retirement were to become
my “Elmers” as hams call it! They were my teachers/mentors and brought me
into the world of Electronics and Amateur Radio at the age of 12!
