    Nice video!! And thanks for posting this, its great to see the other end of our QSO! I was running the same antenna (Elk log-periodic) here in California when we made contact, sitting in my backyard with the battery powere (2xFT817ND) system … it’s nice that we were both operating entirely portable!     @ryanperry90 The radio on the roof of the car is an Icom IC-2820H 2m/70cm FM mobile. It is D-Star capable, but I do not have the D-Star module installed. It’s a great radio for FM satellite work, with two sets of volume/squelch/tuning knobs. I can adjust one VFO without affecting the other, and without having to move the “MAIN” band off the 2m VFO. 73! Patrick
