Really cool, dude. What model Tacoma did you pull this cluster from? 3.4L? 2.7? I noticed that they did outfit them on some 2WD models (if parts distributor pages are to be believed), but that must have been extremely rare. If this wasn’t from a 2RZ-FE equipped Tacoma, does the tach work okay? I would think the computer handles it all and that it would be a straight swap, there-by saving on individual gauge designs and parts.

I got my cluster from an automatic 3rz-fe prerunner and put it into my 2rz-fe 5 speed. The 4cylinder clusters are interchangeable except for year differences, I know 01-04 are all work together, the v6 still not interchange with the 4cyl. It’s a direct replacement, completely plug and play. The odometer will need to be matched to your truck which can be a little pricy at the dealer but there are companies who can do electronic calibration.
