    Thanks Chris. I use it with a modified camera tripod as well for portable work. The two ends of the dipoles can also be used for verticals with the the same broomstick! 73s and cheers – Rob.

    Hi, the dipole is about 4 metres long on each leg, but it is not critical.
    If your tuner wont load a band you want, I would just adjust the length a bit.
    I also found that if you substitute wire for the tubes or dangle wires off the end,
    the directivity goes out the door, so tubes were best for me.
