I don’t understand the point of this?! You are simply using the knob of the
TS-2000 to tune the Ensemble. What’s wrong with using the mouse? You could
easily add a USB “knob” (Griffin Technologies) that would allow you to tune
the Ensemble without using an expensive radio. NOW, if you could switch the
antenna back and forth between rigs, you could find stations with the
Ensemble and work ’em with the Kenwood. (protect the frontend of the
Ensemble). I plan to use the Ensemble as T2K panascope.

Which version of WinRad did you use? There’s 12 different receiver
applications available. Does it matter which one?

George I use almost the same setup with the griffin the difference is i use
power sdr-if you can use the mouse wheel in power sdr-if or hrd or the vfo
knob. you don’t tune the ensemble it is set to one freq. in my case I set
it to 10.723 mhz. you are tuning the radio not the sdr.

Oh I forgot you are not xmiting in to the ensemble you are just tuning into
the if-freq and use the sdr as a panascope and in that configuration I turn
the volume down on the 2000 and listen to the sdr through the computer, and
it is more sensitive the the 2000 is.
