Part 1of 2 I took this video showing the antenna in action and how directional it is. (Which is what you need to concentrate the radios power in one direction). In the video it shows me in my back yard transmitting 5w (146.835mhz) to a repeater that is located about 40 miles away at 6300′ elevation. I am located at about 1400′ elevation and there are hills directly between the repeater and me, so with a rubber duck I would not have been able to make contact. Buy one of these awesome super-portable light weight antennas for only .95 on eBay! Check out the link below (to eBay) for further info. cgi.ebay.com

Don’t buy anything from this Danny guy. His foul mouth can be heard on 146.235. He is truly not an example of how a ham radio operator should behave. We the amateur users have welcomed him, have had fun with him and his homosexuality in a a tong and cheek manner. You would think that he would cherish this radio friendship, especially in this fag hating society. But instead, runs his mouth and now has worn out his welcome with most of us. Way to go Danny, thanks for ruining it all for everyone.
