From the Gateway to the English Riviera Global Geopark.
By members of Local Clubs from inside the walls of the Napoleonic Fortress overlooking the English Channel and Approaches monitoring Brixham and the South Hams .
Set in a beautiful nature reserve above ancient caves housing the very rare and protected Greater Horseshoe Bats.
The cliffs are home and breeding site to many species of rare visiting and British wildlife specimens watched by thousands of visitors all year round
All this area belonging to Torbay Coast and Counrtyside Trust and managed by Nigel Smallbones, who has given us this great opportunity to shout out worldwide that the geoparks exist are alive and active.
