www.kcomm.biz This was the scene at Clay’s W5ZPV house here in San Antonio, Tx as his Cushcraft A3S 3 Element Tri-band Ham Radio Yagi Beam Antenna was put up on the tower..Our crew consisted of my brother Tim KE5CFZ who is the tower monkey, along with myself (behind the camera) & the boss, Craig KB5BI..The beam was tested & all checks were good..73s, Mel, WA5UTK

i have the entire A3 minus the boom and the boom plate . Got all the elements ( 1 tip is slightly bent)and all the traps.(some traps need boots) but I got it all .Any offers?

I didn’t know that kcomm installed towers and yagis. When I buy my next house (non HOA!) I may have them put up some hardware for me.
Nice video, beautyful setup. but the knots scare the hell out of me. I work for a communication tower installation and repair company and I would get fired for tying knots like that.

Something that’s aways puzzled me….why aren’t tilt-over towers more widely used in the US? They make installations jobs like this so much easier.

Why did you cut-out the antenna hoisting
@dorslv The reason was that I was part of the “hoisting” crew & didn’t have anyone else to run the camera, so therefore had to settle for the before & after shots..Thanks for your comment..73s, Mel

Well in the video I observe the rotor, and seems a create rotor? Or is a hi gain? Because I have a Create RC5 rotor but I lost my control station was stolen from my house.
I have been trying to find this in everywhere but live in México and it had been so difficult, my call sign is XE1HHM and my name is Miguel, I appreciate so much if you can help me to know how I can get it.
