    The noise blanker works very well on my Eagle. I agree about that speaker
    though. External DSP speaker is on my wish list. I think the same speaker
    is used in the Omni VII.

    A lot of ham radio rig do not receive well on the AM band to prevent local
    stations from interfering on the ham bands. Also It would have been better
    if you had shown how the radio does on the CW bands. Not everyone spends
    all their time on SSB.
