    Thank you very much for posting this video! It is very informative, and is just what I needed to get cross band repeat to work on my D710! Your timing could not have been better!

    One thing to note (for you and others): As far as I can tell, the simplex channel must be a memory channel, otherwise the radio will not lock into cross band repeat, which keeps you from completing the entire process.

    I have noticed that I don’t have repeater mode on my 710E , I would like to block a band when I transmitting on the B band, any idead how come I don’t have those options ?

    I didnt done yet a firmware upgrade maybe thats the prob ?

    ow yes and its a EU version

    You also need to make sure the TNC is turned off or it won’t active crossband. I have made that mistake several times.

    Why tone encode on the simplex side? I could see ctcss on that side but I don’t understand the value of outbound tone from the 710 to the ht
