This is an example of a simple 900 MHz ground plane antenna. I use this for radio testing.

Update: I am selling this antenna, brand new, still in the box, never installed. Email me at: rickblythe at gmail.com if you want to make an offer. I am in southern Ontario. You will pay for the shipping. What’s inside the box when you buy a Hustler 5BTV ham radio antenna? I’ll show you.

Keep me posted on how well it works.
I’ve been considering buying a vertical, and the Hustler BTV series are looking pretty good to me.

I bought the mini tripod many years ago and have not used it very much. It came in real handy for this use. It is pretty cute but not very sturdy.
